Once each quarter, the Poet Laureate will open the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors Meeting with a poem. This meeting will include the last quarterly poem by current laureate Lisa Rosenberg, and the scheduled appointment of our next San Mateo County Poet Laureate for 2019-2020, nominee Aileen Cassinetto. Board meetings begin at 9:00AM, and are open to the public. You are welcome to stay for all or any portion of the meeting.
